A medium-sized resort on Beach Road (near Soi 11). The 269 rooms in the 14-storey main tower have sea or garden views. Those in the low-rise Grand Chalet (50 rooms) and Grand Cottage (20 rooms) are set back slightly from the beach. Rooms are simply appointed, and there are three swimming pools, kids pool, fitness centre, sauna, gardens and several bars and restaurants. Many shops and restaurants close by.

Huge! There's no other word for it. A sprawling self-contained resort complex set on 80 acres of beachfront land and with no less than 4,210 rooms spread across five different wings. It's roughly 10km from Pattaya City, with rooms in a variety of shapes and sizes. More restaurants than your stomach can handle (eight no less), several bars, three massive swimming pools (including Asia's largest), a sports/fitness facility, you get the idea. Direct access to the beach too.

Nusa Playa Hotel & Spa

Appealing to families and couples especially, this colossal new luxury resort has a futuristic high-rise tower visible for miles. It's next to Soi 14 (a quiet central area of Jomtien with not much nightlife but some shops and restaurants nearby), about 100 metres from the beach. Currently in its soft opening period, 247 contemporary oriental-style rooms are available. The smallest are a very spacious 40 square metres. Alongside modern amenities, all have wooden laminated floors and a private balcony overlooking the sea. Several snazzy restaurants, a spa, meeting rooms, and a business centre. A chic 5th floor outdoor pool has ocean views.

Rabbit Resort

Quaint and charming Thai style rooms and bungalows, roughly 400 metres from Jomtien Beach Road.
